You are a slain warrior, brought to Valheim by the Valkyries—the tenth realm of the Norse gods. Trapped by chaotic beings and ancient enemies of Odin, you must become the new guardian of this primordial purgatory. Your task: slay Odin's old foes and restore order to Valheim.
Your journey begins in the relatively peaceful center of Valheim, but the gods favor only the brave. Venture into majestic forests and snow-capped mountains! Explore, gather valuable resources, forge deadlier weapons and sturdier armor, and build Viking fortresses and outposts. Craft an invincible longship and sail across the endless ocean in search of foreign lands—but beware: do not stray too far from your course.
