High school student Haruna Kagihara finds herself trapped in a mysterious town called Black Forest Town by an unknown force. While searching for a way out, she meets the enigmatic girl Kirigaya Yuki, who reveals that the escape method lies hidden in the town's past. Thus begins their fantastical journey to find freedom, where what awaits them is not only the riddles behind Black Forest Town but also a vibrant world of colorful yokai and thrilling adventures.
