Star Ocean: First Departure R
From powers yet untapped, a new generation is born. Our story begins on the primitive planet Roak, in the quiet village of Clatos where Roddick lives. As a member of the local "Defense Force" tasked with protecting Clatos, Roddick learns of a mysterious disease spreading in a neighboring town. Infected individuals turn to wield knives, yet remain in a near-death state.
Roddick, along with his friends Millie and Dorne, travels to the nearby town. After learning of a cure for the disease, they head to Mt. Metox, where a healing herb grows. Upon reaching the summit, the party encounters Ronyx and Ilia, who appear before them as pillars of light. Thus begins the story of Star Ocean…
